Tiempo para un Nuevo Comienzo (ACTUALIZACIÓN)

Mencioné en mi publicación anterior con respecto a mi salida de mi cuenta de Google+ que revisaría al menos una película más, sin embargo, las cosas han estado tan ocupadas en la universidad (especialmente porque es el último semestre para mí y tengo que dar esa prioridad) que No he tenido tiempo de revisar lo que quería. En esa nota, estoy cerrando este blog completamente. Dejaré para que vuelvas a leer parte de mi trabajo si lo deseas antes de que desaparezca, pero no esperes que publique reseñas de películas o algo por el estilo aquí.

Mi opinión sigue en pie en cuanto a querer seguir este blogging pero en un sitio web diferente. Actualmente estoy buscando en sitios como Wix, Wordpress e incluso Youtube para ver cuál funciona mejor conmigo, a cuáles estoy dispuesto a dedicar mi tiempo al máximo.

Estoy pensando en aumentar mi conteo de visitas, tengo que hacer algo relacionado con youtube porque puede facilitar las cosas para que la gente revise mis cosas sin la molestia de desplazarse para leer todas estas palabras y palabras.

Espero que esta pausa se detenga a fines de abril, porque una película que realmente quiero revisar es Avengers: Endgame y necesito hacer mucha justicia para una película que será el final de la era Marvel. No puedo garantizar que sucederá, pero haré todo lo posible para que esto suceda.

Time for a New Start (UPDATE)

I mentioned in my previous post regarding my departure from my Google+ account that I would review at least one more movie, however things have been so busy at university (especially since it's the final semester for me and I need to make that top priority) that I haven't had time to review what I wanted to. On that note, I'm shutting this blog down completely. I'll leave it up for you to re-read some of my work if you wish before it goes away, but don't expect me to post any movie reviews or anything of the sort anymore on here.

My opinion still stands though on wanting to pursue this blogging but on a different website. I'm currently looking on sites like Wix, Wordpress, and even Youtube to see which works best with me- which ones I'm willing to dedicate my time to the most.

I'm thinking to increase my view count, I have to do something youtube related because it may make things easier for people to check out my stuff without the hassle of scrolling to read all of these words upon words.

Tu cuenta de Google+ desaparecerá el 2 de abril de 2019

Me doy cuenta de que es hora de seguir adelante...

Si me has estado siguiendo durante un tiempo, sabes cuánto me encanta compartir mi información sobre las últimas películas, a veces películas antiguas, y quizás tener una perorata aquí y allá relacionada con la película. He estado blogueando por mi cuenta desde 2014 y ha sido un placer enseñarme la mejor manera de promocionar mi blog. Siempre estoy agradecido por la cantidad de espectadores que he visto crecer con el tiempo, y me alegro de haber podido tener esta experiencia.

Sin embargo, recientemente recibí la noticia de que mi cuenta de Google+ se retirará el próximo mes, y creo que es seguro suponer que esto significa que este blog desaparecerá para siempre. Mi contenido probablemente se borrará y será un día triste para mí cuando vea que todo mi trabajo desaparecerá dentro de Internet.

Así que me pregunté, ¿quiero seguir blogueando?

Lo creas o no, nunca me han pagado por ninguno de los trabajos que he hecho aquí y, por lo tanto, no me costaría nada detener esto para siempre. Pero ha sido una alegría absoluta hacerlo a pesar de la falta de pago, y veo este cierre como una forma de obligarme a aspirar a más.

Admito que llevo mucho tiempo jugando a lo seguro. Hice este blog en primer lugar porque un amigo me lo recomendó en lugar de que yo solo hiciera reseñas cortas en Facebook. Si ese amigo no hubiera dicho nada, es posible que me haya quedado allí y, por lo tanto, esta situación me lo recuerda.

El cierre de Google+ es una señal de que necesito encontrar un lugar mejor para publicar mi trabajo, un lugar donde es más probable que me noten y paguen, aunque solo sea por unos pocos dólares. Creo que me he ganado ese derecho.

Solo porque realmente deseo comentarlo, revisaré una película más en este blog para que la vean antes del 2 de abril, pero luego, tendré que empezar de nuevo. Hacer un nombre para mí mismo en otro sitio web donde pueda tener una plataforma más profesional y darme la oportunidad de tal vez incluso hacer una carrera de esto.

Definitivamente daré una actualización antes del próximo mes sobre dónde pienso ir el próximo, así que si quieres continuar siguiéndome, puedes hacerlo. He recibido muchas sugerencias como ir a wix, wordpress, o incluso comenzar a grabarme criticando películas en mi canal de youtube.

Si tiene alguna sugerencia, no dude en comentarla a continuación. Preferiría encontrar un sitio web que pueda pagarme dinero por mi trabajo y darme la libertad de mantener mi formato de escritura como lo tengo aquí.

BLOG SHUTDOWN (Important Message!)

Your Google+ Account is going away on April 2, 2019

I realize that it is time for me to move on...

If you've been following me for a while, you know how much I love to share my insight on the latest movies, sometimes older films, and maybe have a rant here and there relating to film. I've been blogging on my own since 2014 and it has been a joy to teach myself the way to promote my blog in as best a way I could. I am always grateful for the amount of viewers I've seen grown over time, and I'm glad I could have this experience.

However, I recently gotten word that my Google+ Account will be going away next month, and I believe it's a safe guess to assume that this means this blog will disappear for good. My content will probably be erased and it will be a sad day for me when I see that all of my hard work will disappear within the internet.

So I asked myself, do I want to continue blogging? 

Believe it or not, I have never been paid for any of the work I've done on here and therefore, it wouldn't cost me anything to just stop this forever. But it's been an absolute joy to do it regardless of the lack of payment, and I see this shutdown as a way to push myself to aspire for more. 

I admit I've been playing it safe for a long time. I did this blog in the first place because a friend recommended it instead of me just making short reviews on Facebook. If that friend hadn't said anything, I may've just stayed put there and so, this situation reminds me of that.

Google+ shutting down is a sign that I need to find a better place to publish my work, a place where I'm more likely to get noticed and paid- even if it's just a few dollars. I believe I've earned that right.

Just because I really really wish to comment on it, I will be reviewing one more film on this blog for you to view before April 2, but afterwards, I'm going to have to start over again. Make a name for myself on another website where I can have a more professional platform and give myself the opportunity to maybe even make a career out of this. 

I'll definitely give an update before next month on where I plan to go next, so if you want to continue following me you can. I've been getting many suggestions like going to wix, wordpress, or even begin recording myself critiquing movies on my youtube channel. 

If you have any suggestions yourself, feel free to comment them below. I'd prefer to find a website that can pay me money for my work and allow me the freedom to keep my writing format as I have it on here.
