He sido significado para revisar esta película durante más tiempo y yo significaba para que este sea publicado en el día de San Valentín. Esto me parece más como un shoutout y resumen de la película en lugar de un comentario. Me siento como es la enrevesada historia perfecta para ver en Netflix para las vacaciones.

El documental, "loco amor" describe la verdadera historia de los amores de Burton 'Burt' N. Pugach y Linda Eleanor Riss, dos adultos jóvenes en la década de 1950 que tienen que soportar una serie de salvajes y peculiares de los sucesos que cambian sus vidas para siempre.

Esta historia se presenta a través de los ojos de la pareja y de todas las personas a las que ellos han impactado a través de los años, incluidos los amigos y compañeros de trabajo. Cada persona narra su perspectiva sobre Pugach y Riss' amar la vida, y sobre la base de sus documentos, parece que muchos de aquellos que sabían de las dos desaprueba su relación. Pero, ¿cómo llegar? Lo que les hacen tan renuentes a apoyar la pareja?

Estaba completamente Pugach molestos por esta situación, y es en este punto donde las cosas han comenzado a ser escalofriante de Riss.

He notado un comentario del espectador (ubicado en Netflix) que dice, "...bien hecho de un fascinante documental, inquietante, casi increíble historia. Yo no plenamente conscientes de cómo esta persona era correcta en cuanto a la postura que adopta este documental. Es una extraña historia con un aún más extraño modo de filmación. No hay nadie que le dice qué pensar acerca de esta historia, nadie diciendo, "él es malo, no como él" o "ella es buena, como ella" todo lo que se habla es la historia; los hechos que necesitaba ser conocido. Permite a la audiencia a reflexionar sobre su Crazy Love o si fue amor en primer lugar.

Sólo sé una cosa segura: lloré cuando vi el final de este documental. Ver los clips de la (entonces) presente Pugach y Riss bailando lentamente en cada uno de los brazos de otra, argumentando como una vieja pareja cómica, actuando como todo lo que ha sucedido en el pasado nunca ocurrió, activó mis emociones y tuve cascadas de lágrimas. Fue porque me pareció bonito? Fue porque me sentía mal de Riss para tener que conformarse con él? Fue simplemente porque estoy demasiado sensible para ver romance?

Bueno...personalmente, no quiero influir en su opinión con mi opinión. Mejor opción para responder a todas estas preguntas es para verlo usted mismo.

I've been meaning to review this film for the longest time and I did mean for this to be published on Valentine's day too. I find this as more of a shoutout and summary for the movie rather than a review. I just feel like it is the perfect twisted story to watch on Netflix for the holiday.

The documentary, 'Crazy Love' describes the true story of the love affair of Burton 'Burt' N. Pugach and Linda Eleanor Riss, two young adults in the 1950s who endure a series of wild and peculiar events that change their lives forever.

This story is presented through the eyes of the couple and all of the people whom they have impacted through the years, including friends and co-workers. Each person tells their perspective on Pugach and Riss' love life, and based on their documents, it appears that many of those who knew of the two disapproved of their relationship. But how come? What would make them so hesitant to support the couple?

If you have no clue about the story, then you're in for a wild ride.

At the age of 32, Pugach was a lawyer who had a steady career. He met the 22 year old Riss in the Bronx and he said that seeing her made him fall in love at first sight. Riss was indeed a very beautiful woman. Practically everyone remembered her for her stunning beauty and high spirited personality.                                                                                                  Funny enough, Riss mentioned how she

didn't find the lawyer physically attractive, him being very thin and nerdy looking. Despite that, the pair dated anyways. Pugach made up for his mediocre looks by showering Riss with lavish gifts and trips. He seemed like the perfect man to be with if searching for a rich person, but there was more to his character; a much darker side. At some point in their relationship, Pugach wished to sleep with Riss, but being a woman who preferred to be a virgin till after marriage, she refused. Pugach was thoroughly upset by this, and it is at this point where things have started to become creepy for Riss.

The older male began stalking her, even his friends noticed how strange he became. It was getting so overwhelming, Riss ended their relationship and later moved on to another man who wasn't as rich, but had a good heart with a loving family. They couldn't keep their hands off each other, according to Riss's friends. It seemed guaranteed that the two lovebirds would stay together, and they almost did, having gotten engaged. This engagement made Pugach mad with rage once he heard about it and was determined to get revenge for Riss leaving him. So he did the unthinkable...

In 1959, Pugach hired three men to go to Riss' home and attack her by throwing lye in her face. Lye is a strong alkaline solution that's used for washing or cleansing. It can be very dangerous to have lye in contact with skin, so when Riss was faced with lye, it created a permanent scarring on her face. This attack was heard all over New York and landed front page in the newspapers. Soon after the attack, the three men and Pugach were all arrested. Pugach was sentenced to 15 years in prison for orchestrating this brutal assault and Riss' family and friends were thrilled by the news.

Riss survived the assault but suffered severe burns because of it, making her need to wear dark glasses in order for no one to take a look the damage she had. Riss was very happy that her ex-boyfriend was in prison, but because of him, her plans to marry her current boyfriend shattered. She understood how difficult it would be for her boyfriend to care for her in her condition, so she let him go and to take that emotional weight away, she occupied her time by hanging out with her friends for the years Pugach was locked up. But even trips to the beaches didn't help her escape the pain.

At some point, Riss realized that she was in her 30s and still never lost her virginity, so she was confident to change that by having a fling with a man. The man was very kind to her, but couldn't handle seeing her without her glasses and thus, couldn't go through with sleeping with her. This crushed Riss' spirit, no one found her attractive anymore...no one except Pugach.

While Riss was out and free in the world, her heart was bearing loneliness. Pugach on the other hand was trapped behind bars but never lost hope that he would see the beautiful Riss again. He always wrote letters to her and shouted his love for her until he was finally freed from prison. When he was out, all he wanted was to see the woman he scarred, not for revenge but to be romantically involved with her once again. Pugach confessed how Riss looked as beautiful as she did the first time he saw her, even when he saw her disfigurement. It seemed to the younger woman that Pugach was genuinely attracted to her and because of this, she decided that they could be together again and get married on top of that.

Since then, they've stayed married, even after allegations of Pugach cheating on her and assaulting another woman, she's stayed by his side and the pair lived together in complete happiness until Riss' death in 2013 due to heart failure.

I noticed a viewer's comment (located on Netflix) that reads, "...Well made documentary of a fascinating, disturbing, almost unbelievable story. The filmmakers wisely take a completely neutral stance, leaving the viewer to grapple with the circumstances of this darkly twisted tale that is both terrifying and funny." I didn't fully realize how right this person was in regards to the stance this documentary takes. It's a strange story with an even stranger way of filming. There is no one telling you what to think about this story, no one saying, "He's bad, don't like him" or "She's good, like her" All that is spoken is the story; the facts that needed to be known. It allows the audience to think further about their crazy love or if it was love in the first place. 

I know one thing for sure: I cried when I watched the ending to this documentary. Seeing the clips of the (back then) present Pugach and Riss dancing slowly in each other's arms, arguing like a comedic old couple, acting like all that's happened in the past never occurred, it triggered my emotions and I had waterfalls of tears. Was it because I found it beautiful? Was it because I felt bad for Riss for having to settle with him? Was it because I'm just too sensitive to seeing romance? 

Well...personally, I don't want to influence your opinion with my opinion. Best option to answer all of these questions is to watch it yourself.

Es triste cuando te espera una película a ser malo, especialmente cuando sabes que la parcela podría haber tenido tantas posibilidades, pero cuando vi que Marlon Wayans fue la fuerza impulsora detrás de cincuenta tonos de negro, sabía que me gustaría ver una decepción.

Yo no odio Marlon Wayans, pero sé que él podía hacerlo mucho mejor de lo que se implementó en esta película. He visto su brillantez en películas antiguas como los primeros dos 'Scary Movie' parodias, "no ser una amenaza", e incluso su actuación en 'Réquiem por un Sueño". Estoy seguro de que él sabe lo que es bueno y lo que es hilarante a la audiencia, pero su más reciente parodia películas como casa embrujada 1 & 2 consta de la misma errática y humor absurdo que ni siquiera está clasificado como gracioso, pero más molesto y repulsivo para ver.

Antes de que yo continúe en mi rant, centrémonos en la historia de cincuenta tonos de negro.

Como el título presenta, esta película es una imitación de la película 59 tonos de gris y chistes sobre sus principales temas que la gente tenía con él, incluyendo su tergiversación del BDSM, el diálogo extraño (e.g cristiana ana exigentes para comer), y cómo se manifiesta más como una película pornográfica en lugar de una trama bien construida.

Una parodia está pensado para hacer que la diversión de la película original o películas que, sin embargo, en el centro de esta parodia en particular es más probable recibir una tonelada de odio de los espectadores, porque el estilo de humor utilizado no era gracioso, no para mí.

La historia es básicamente la misma de la original: un manso y tímido estudiante universitario entrevista a un empresario exitoso, y que las plantas de la serie de eventos que transforman la vida del personaje principal del revés. Esta vez, la protagonista femenina es llamado, "Hannah Steele" (Kali Hawk) y el macho el plomo es llamado, "Christian Black"(Marlon Wayans)

Estos dos no tienen absolutamente ninguna química juntos, como personajes ni como actores. Me siento como los chistes eran principalmente sobre cómo soso y feo y cómo Hannah fue escalofriante era negra. Si, Christian Grey's personalidad era horrible, él hizo con sus miradas... y otras cosas que involucran el dormitorio. Con eso en mente, ¿por qué en el comienzo de la película, ¿su ayudante alardear de lo maravilloso que es en la cama y se enorgullece de ser uno de sus muchas mujeres? ¿Cómo él todavía han costado a las mujeres cuando éstas, obviamente, visto lo que le falta?

Parece que estoy olvidando una razón fundamental de todo esto, que es un éxito multimillonario pero aun así, la película tornillos! Desde el principio, la audiencia lo ve robando dinero, ropa y un coche de la gente. ¿Por qué necesita hacer que si él ya tiene eso y mucho más? Un chiste sobre Christian Black robar cosas sólo funcionaría si así es como comenzó su negocio; no si él ya tiene un negocio. Si nada, él es un sustituto de la empresa hasta el verdadero dueño, porque no hay ninguna razón por la que él debe tomar el dinero de la gente que ya tiene en el banco!

Recopilar toda esta información, no he podido encontrar ninguna cualidad redentora a Christian Black y no veo cómo Hannah Steele podrían caer en él. Si me pudo haber ayudado con el personaje, me habria hecho Christian Black tan suave como cristiano era gris. Se podría dejar en diminutos vistazos de su verdadero carácter, como forzarla a comer. Quizás una escena donde ella se niega a comer y le da un mal reflejos con música amenazantes en la espalda exigiendo su comer y cuando lo hace, él crece en calma y suave de nuevo. Eso sería un poco más divertido que él golpearle la cabeza en la mesa y luego se calma. No lo sé, es sólo para mí. Ahora en Hannah Steele.

Hannah era normalito. Negro y muchos lado y personajes secundarios señaló continuamente sus defectos y pasó que fuera como chistes. Sólo pude apreciar unos significa fogoso chistes antes de que se convierta en el triste. Hannah fue el saco de arena detrás de la mayoría de estos chistes, aunque reconozco que su personalidad era sosa y no había mucha profundidad a ella; sólo el típico tímido y agradable para los jóvenes adultos.

Luego de nuevo...me debe dar el carácter de crédito, una vez que ella y Christian se juntaron, los chistes no me aprecian hasta comenzar este examen fue cómo ella fue abierto con Christian sobre su propia vida sexual dobleces. En un momento, ella se queja acerca de por qué no hay ningún abrazaderas genital en el contrato (una lista de cosas permitidas durante su relación) y negro es agradablemente sorprendido por esta. Otra parte fue justo después de esa escena, donde Hannah le permite tener muchas mujeres mientras están juntos. La manera en que esas bromas topé me hizo reír, porque te hace ver cómo crazy Hannah es casi tanto como el negro.

Los otros personajes en la película no eran mucho de que hablar. Hannah's friend, Jesse (Andrew Licenciado/King Bach) no fue tan divertido para mí. Su schtick fue cómo iba a decir algo a Hannah sexual y cuando le pregunté lo que él dijo, tendría que responder con algo inocente. No hay mucho que decir acerca de lo que realmente, no me importaba para él. Ahora bien, alguien me podría quejar es realmente Hannah's otro amigo y compañero, Kateesha (Jenny Zigrino) que he encontrado menos atractiva que el negro. Ella era la encarnación de caminar el white ghetto girl tropo y evidentemente es demasiado exagerado. Ella tenía el pelo y la ropa multicolor y siempre habla acerca de cómo muchos chicos durmió con ella en un lenguaje vulgar. No tengo risa de ella.

Observe que estoy hablando más acerca de los personajes, en lugar de la historia, porque prácticamente cada momento fue sacado de la original de 59 colores (con unas pocas referencias de películas lanzadas en Mike como por arte de magia, por ejemplo), aunque al final de la película, todo lo que diré es que el final de la original 59 tonos no es la misma a la parodia. La parodia continúa con la historia y eso no es un problema, pero después de ver los personajes en toda su estupidez (en el mal sentido) yo lo esperaba para terminar más rápidamente de lo que lo hizo.

Si usted no sabe por ahora, no me gustó esta película. Cuando quiero reír, sería manso y baja porque no era una risa que tomó aliento fuera de mí cuando soy testigo de una escena hilarante, sino uno donde tampoco me asombré al ver cómo era estúpido o me sentí mal por no reírse en un rato.

Recuerdo amoroso parodia películas y verlos de nuevo, yo todavía crack en ellos. No creo que porque soy mayor estoy perdiendo interés en cómica de humor, porque podía reírse de los más sucios y cosas inapropiadas, si se entregan a la derecha. Tirar naughty chistes derecha e izquierda no es igual a una genuina felicidad.

Me siento como esos escritores y directores están recibiendo petulantes, piensan que simplemente porque un nombre famoso se coloca en una parodia, que la audiencia será automáticamente amarla y morirse al día siguiente.

Este no es el caso, por favor volver a la buena comedia.

It's sad when you expect a movie to be bad, especially when you know the plot could've had so much potential, but when I saw that Marlon Wayans was the driving force behind Fifty Shades of Black, I knew I would watch a disappointment.

I don't hate Marlon Wayans, but I know he could do so much better than what was implemented in this film. I've seen his brilliance in older films like the first two 'Scary Movie' parodies, 'Don't be a Menace', and even his acting in 'Requiem for a Dream.' I'm sure he knows what's good and what's hilarious to the audience, but his more recent parody movies such as Haunted House 1 & 2 consists of the same erratic and nonsensical humor that isn't even classified as funny but more annoying and repulsive to watch.

Before I continue on my rant, let's dive into the storyline of Fifty Shades of Black.

As the title presents, this film is an imitation of the movie Fifty Shades of Grey and it jokes about its major issues that people had with it, including its misrepresentation of the BDSM, the strange dialogue (e.g Christian demanding Ana to eat), and how it expresses itself as more of a pornographic film rather than a well constructed plot.

A parody is meant to make fun of the original film or films they center on, however, this parody in particular is more likely to receive a ton of hate from viewers because the style of humor used wasn't funny, not to me.

The story is basically the same from the original: A meek and shy college student interviews a successful businessman, and that plants the series of events that turn the main character's life upside down. This time, the female lead is called, "Hannah Steele" (Kali Hawk) and the male lead is called, "Christian Black"(Marlon Wayans) 

These two have absolutely no chemistry together, as characters nor as actors. I feel like the jokes were mostly about how bland and ugly Hannah was and how creepy Black was. Now the original Christian was creepy in several ways, but there are many fans of the books and film that can take away charm from that character. If Christian Grey's personality was awful, he made up for it with his looks and...other things involving the bedroom. Christian Black on the other hand never charmed me or showed any qualities that might persuade Hannah to be with him.

His behavior was very diverse, and not in a good way. He would go from boisterously laughing at Hannah for falling in front of him, to acting calm and collected, to yelling at Hannah to speak up. Plus, there are some jokes involving Black having less than average private parts that are enough to make women laugh at him for it and he runs off crying in embarrassment.

Which brings me to another topic-continuity. Despite this being a parody, it should still make sense to the story-plot wise.

Here's what I mean: I just said that Christian Black is known for not being well-endowed and to add on, he is proven to not be a good lover at all. With that in mind, why in the beginning of the movie, does his assistant brag about how wonderful he is in bed and is proud of being one of his many side women? How does he still have side women when they obviously seen what he lacks?

It seems like I'm forgetting a key reason for all of this, which is that he is a successful billionaire-but even that, the movie screws up! Right from the get go, the audience sees him stealing money, clothing, and a car from people. Why does he need to do that if he already has that and more? A joke about Christian Black stealing things would only work if that's how he started his business; not if he already has a business. If anything, he is a substitute for the business until the real owner shows up, because there is no reason he should be taking money from people that he already has in the bank!

Gathering all of this information up, I could not find any redeeming quality to Christian Black and I do not see how Hannah Steele could fall for him. If I could've helped with the character, I would've made Christian Black just as suave as Christian Grey was. They could leave in tiny glimpses of his true character, like forcing her to eat. Perhaps a scene where she refuses to eat and he gives her an evil glare with threatening music in the back demanding her to Eat and when she does, he grows calm and suave again. That would be a little funnier than him slamming her head onto the table and then being calm. I don't know, that's just me. Now onto Hannah Steele.

Hannah was just okay. Black and many side and minor characters continuously pointed out her flaws and passed it off as jokes. I could only appreciate a few mean spirited jokes before it becomes sad. Hannah was the punching bag behind most of these jokes, though I do admit that her personality was bland and there was not much depth to her; just the typical shy and nice young adult.

Then again...I must give the character credit, once her and Christian got together, the jokes I didn't appreciate until starting this review was how open she was with Christian about her own sexual kinks. At one point, she complains about why there aren't any genital clamps in the contract (a list of things allowed during their relationship) and Black is pleasantly surprised by this. Another part was right after that scene, where Hannah allows him to have many side women while they're together. The way those jokes came across made me laugh, because it makes you see how crazy Hannah is-almost as much as Black.

The other characters in the movie weren't much to talk about. Hannah's friend, Jesse (Andrew Bachelor/King Bach) wasn't so funny to me. His schtick was how he would say something sexual to Hannah and when she'd ask what he said, he'd reply with something innocent. Nothing much to say about it really, I didn't care for him. Now someone I could really complain about is Hannah's other friend and roommate, Kateesha (Jenny Zigrino) who I found less appealing than Black. She was the walking embodiment of the white ghetto girl trope and it was clearly overly exaggerated. She had multicolored hair and clothing and always spoke about how many guys she's slept with in vulgar language. I got no laugh out of her.

Notice I'm speaking more about the characters rather than the story, because practically every moment was taken out of the original Fifty Shades (with a few movie references thrown in like Magic Mike for example) Although, at the end of the film, all I'll say is that the ending to the original Fifty Shades is not the same to the parody. The parody continues on with the story and that's not a problem, but after watching the characters in all their stupidity (in a bad way) I hoped for it to end off quicker than it did.

If you didn't know by now, I didn't like this movie. When I would laugh, it would be meek and low because it wasn't a laugh that took breath out of me when I witness a hilarious scene, but rather one where I either was shocked at how stupid it was or I felt bad for not laughing in a while.

I remember loving parody movies and watching them again, I still crack up at them. I don't think that because I'm older I'm losing interest in comical humor, because I could laugh at the dirtiest and most inappropriate things, if delivered right. Throwing naughty jokes left and right doesn't equal genuine happiness.

I feel like these writers and directors are getting smug, they think that just because a famous name is placed in a parody, that the audience will automatically love it and rave about it the next day.

This isn't the case people, please return to good comedy.
