Si se actualizan con mi blog, sabría que hablé de la película "cantar" antes en mi rant sobre "por qué cantar tiene un horrible tráiler." Se habla de cómo su cuarta tráiler parecía spoiler toda la película desde el principio. Sin embargo, no perdí mucho interés en ver que tan pronto como se estrenó en los cines, fui a ver esta comedia de animación.

"cantar" fue realizado por iluminación Studios, la misma compañía que produjo la serie Me despreciable, La Vida Secreta de las mascotas y el Lorax. Teatro de las estrellas un propietario que está abajo en su suerte y para salvar su teatro y traerlo de vuelta a la gloria que una vez fue, él decide organizar un concurso de canciones. A través de esto, vemos la vida de varios animales que compiten en el evento y cómo esta experiencia les ayuda a ser un individuo en sus vidas.

Hizo "cantar" terminan impresione a mí con su relato, talento o es una película que debería ser expulsado de los teatros en todas partes?

La historia invita a un montón de espacio para la música popular a cameo en ella. Esta película puede ser llamado barato para su uso a menudo de marketing incluyendo canciones populares de música moderna de Drake, Taylor Swift y Kanye West.

Para una película como ésta, me siento como la gente disfruta de más música original, cosas que no han escuchado antes. Incluso si son canciones malas, todavía es nuevo y hace que la película más singular, en lugar de mirar como están llegando a promover los top 50 hits. Concedida, hubo un par de canciones originales y estaban realmente pegajosa y personalmente me hubiera gustado más de eso.

Aparte de la música, la trama de la historia fue realmente lindo con los animales compiten en un concierto como el rendimiento. Tengo la moral que estaban tratando de hacer, pero estoy muy duda de los personajes en la historia sería realmente satisfechos con el resultado final. La historia ni siquiera se sienten competitivos aunque es una competencia de canto. El final de la historia se sentían demasiado cursi y galleta-cortador perfecto.

Además, se sentía como había demasiadas historias a la vez. Si sólo se tratara de los concursantes entonces estaría bien, pero entonces tenemos una parcela en curso con el propietario del teatro y su amigo y su amigo de la familia y...la película era tan compacta con parcelas innecesarios que podrían fácilmente haber sido borrada.

Pensando en ello, la historia tiene un acabado de composición abierta. Usted no está muy seguro de lo que va a suceder después de los acontecimientos, y si las cosas van a ser realmente bien con cada personaje.

Personaje principal Buster Moon (Matthew McConaughey) es el dueño del teatro y él no hablar de por qué y cómo se metió en el teatro en el primer lugar. Me esperaba un poco más backstory sobre él porque se sintió más soso el todos los caracteres y no se destacan para mí. Si usted me pregunta a la lista de los personajes principales en esta película, él probablemente ser alguien me gustaría olvidar.

Johnny el gorila (Taron Egerton) es un amor y no puede ayudar, pero el amor a él y cómo él es muy apasionado por la música. Es su puerta de enlace de la vida criminal que vive con su padre. No tengo quejas sobre Johnny, pero yo soy escéptico de cómo él terminará después de los acontecimientos de la película. Probablemente estoy mirando mucho en ella, pero me siento como Johnny tendrá más problemas después de la historia que lo hacía antes.

Rosita el cerdo (Reese Witherspoon) es también tan compasiva y amable que sólo puedo esperar lo mejor para ella. Ella es una madre trabajadora de...Dios sabe cuántos niños y ella es despreciado por su marido. Ella debe haber sido relatable a un montón de padres en la audiencia, por lo que también debe haber sido gratificante ver que se convirtiera en su propia mujer y sueltan un poco.

No estoy muy contento a pesar de que a menudo se conectan a otro personaje llamado Bob (Nick Kroll) quien también es un cerdo y ayudarla a salir de su concha. Bob-aunque no es el peor Comic Relief siempre no siente necesario a la historia. He entendido por qué Rosita y Bob trabajaron juntos, pero si me hubieran dado Bob más antecedentes sobre su carácter o más la interacción con otros personajes, entonces él no podría sentir como un obstáculo.

Incinerar el puercoespín (Scarlett Johansson) es una de mis favoritas, ella solo se veía tan fresco y había un sistema más complejo y de lo que yo consideraría-arriesgada línea de trazado para un kid's Film. Pensé que era inteligente la forma en que se manejan, donde hicieron cenizas debate claramente lo que era más importante para ella: su sueño o su novio.

Nadie sabe automáticamente entre el bien y el mal, sino que debemos sentarnos y reflexionar en donde nuestros valores mentira y si una cosa vale la pena perder otro. Creo que ella hizo cantar una canción original para la película y la banda sonora fue emocionante y fuerte y en su cara, algo que los niños pequeños se disfrute.

Además, las alabanzas a la voz actor Johansson para hacer un trabajo decente en cenizas. Después de la película "Lucy" (2014), no me importa mucho para Johansson actúa en general porque pensé que iba a salir el tono monocorde y soso, pero se las ingenió para añadir sabor a cenizas del personaje y estoy contento.

Mike el ratón (Seth MacFarlane) se siente como un Seth MacFarlane carácter que usted puede encontrar en "Family Guy", "American dad", y así sucesivamente. Su personalidad era tan snarky y egoísta, como él lo tenía todo en la bolsa y me recordó mucho acerca de uno de los personajes más populares de la MacFarlane, Brian Griffin de "Family Guy" (el cerebro después de la temporada 3).

Aparte de la especie cambia, ambos están adheridos y piensa que es mejor que todos los demás, pero al menos Mike es más tolerable. Desde que la película se centra igualmente en todos los cantantes, no vemos demasiado a Mike a donde iba a ser aborrecido. Es más divertido verle en sus travesuras y verle actuar como un big shot todo el tiempo. No estoy seguro si fue a través de un personaje cambia, porque su victoria sintió apresurado y no entró en detalles sobre cómo los acontecimientos lo cambió. Por lo que sé, él ha desarrollado ningún carácter arco.

Por último, hay Meena el elefante (Tori Kelly) quien es la tímida adolescente con un montón de potencial para ser una estrella. Es un poco molesto cómo ella siempre sale a cantar delante de una audiencia y me pareció que extraño que yo de toda la gente encontraría molesto cuando he tenido problemas de comunicación antes y, a veces, incluso ahora, pero yo quería sacudir Meena y grita, "canta! Eres increíble!"

Yo hubiera preferido si ella confesó a otro concursante y cantar con ellos para practicar, o mostrar el ejercicio de su profesión con su familia de manera que obtengamos más escenas de ella cantando en lugar de ella torpemente de pie alrededor y falta de oportunidades. Su actuación final aunque es tan grande, que me hizo querer levantarse y cantar yo.

Un gran problema que tuve con la película fue sus transiciones, especialmente en el comienzo. No hubo oportunidad de estar inmersos en la escena antes de que corrió a presentar otra. Esto es muy importante cuando la película se describen en primer lugar los concursantes de la competencia de canto; la pantalla gira para cada uno son inesperados y que suceda demasiado pronto. Lo juro, uno de ellos incluso no permitieron que un carácter finalizar su sentencia antes de posicionarse a alguien.

Ella me tiró fuera de la película completamente por un tiempo y sólo me dejó aturdido de confusión porque las escenas son interesantes, en especial durante las audiciones de canto- pero sólo puedes conseguir unos 5 segundos de tiempo de la pantalla para cada concursante y usted no consigue una oportunidad para reír o dejar que se hunden en un momento. No estoy diciendo que da a todos más tiempo, pero al menos la mayoría de los personajes principales y algunas leves por lo que no parece demasiado obvio en que acabaría compitiendo unos contra otros. Tienen que presentarse a la Luna durante las audiciones o algo parecido.

La animación es igual que el tipo que iba a ver en "La Vida Secreta de mascotas", donde todo el mundo ve lindo y digno de tener su propio juguete en Build-a-Bear store. Es un sólido y limpiar la animación que es fácil en el ojo y es lindo ver a todas las diferentes especies y cómo vivir juntos en una sociedad. Desde "Zootopia" (2016) salió a la venta a principios de año, es fácil ver cómo esta película ganó la inspiración para crear formas innovadoras para tener una gran variedad de especies que viven juntos, ésta no es una mala cosa a todos a tener inspiración pero es notable.

Lo recomendaría para ver "cantar" con los niños? Bueno, sí. Es una inofensiva película que es divertido y fácil de seguir, pero las transiciones pueden ser un poco chiflados y también puede sentirse como una manera astuta de comercialización de la música popular. Los personajes son frescas e intrigante a seguir, pero puede que se quede seguro sobre cómo son vida terminará. Se puede suponer lo que ocurre, pero nunca lo verá y que bugs mí mucho. Aún creo que la buena supera el mal y me dará "cantar" Un 3 de 5 estrellas.

El gorila tiene la voz más hermosa y su acento es tan lindo

nunca me gustó "Fuegos artificiales" por: Katy Perry, por lo que escuchar que oír era un poco molesto. Sólo soy yo.

Para ser justos, si mi canto compañero estaba haciendo sus propias cosas y no seguir una determinada estrategia ya hemos acordado, me gustaría ser un poco molesto.

Woah! No acaban de cortar con el novio de la ceniza de palabras? Creo que lo hizo!

Hey, Seth Macfarlane. Voicing otro egoísta presumir, ¿no?

Estoy apostando a que Meena ganará la competencia. Ellos ponen su último en la alineación de las introducciones y ella es expresada por Tori Kelly.

Ash tiene una gran voz demasiado. Sólo deseo que no se cortó su solo en las audiciones!

Que Anaconda escena con los conejitos era tan cringe-digno

japonés lindo animales, pero se está jugando la broma durante demasiado tiempo con ellos tratando de entrar en el show. En última instancia, no hacen nada con ellos entonces, ¿cuál es el punto?

Rosita es la mejor mamá nunca, pero ella habría sido tan privados de sueño en el momento en que llegó a las audiciones. Estoy sorprendido de que ella no tiene bolsas debajo de los ojos.

Bien, espere un minuto. Johnny el gorila ve qué Luna escribió sobre él en las audiciones, diciendo que él es un cantante nacido natural. Destacó que parte incluso...entonces ¿por qué elegir la luna la jirafa sobre él en primer lugar? Él sólo tuvo Johnny en lugar porque la jirafa era difícil hablar, lo que le habría tirado un natural born singer? Si Johnny era un cantante natural y originalmente no lo hacen, entonces que la jirafa tiene una voz de Dios.

Becky? En Becky...película.

Espere, Becky tenía el corazón gafas de sol, pero la ceniza fue visto portando en el remolque (uno de ellos), lo que significa que ella es...ooh, cenizas que son impresionantes! Frotando su cara que eres una estrella!

El calamar pantalla era genial y la música "Luces" por: Kanye West realmente montar la escena.

Es Titanic todo de nuevo.

¿Por qué están todavía tratando de alegrar Luna? Mintió y ellos no reciben su dinero. Johnny no puede romper su padre, Rosita puede tener más estabilidad con los chicos, Ash no puede hacer su propio estudio de música (o lo que ella quería). Él sólo desperdicia su tiempo!

Esa escena con la Luna y Meena se sintió obligado. Como él tiene que decir algo para hacer de su malestar.

Hallelujiah es la canción perfecta para cualquier cosa.

Me alegro de que demostraron Rosita teniendo carga y mediante un plan para reconstruir el teatro para el espectáculo, porque muestra los niños que tener planes son buenos a veces cuando son necesarias y no deberías ir sin un plan todo el tiempo.

La Rosita desempeño fue tan divertido. Estoy realmente feliz por ella, pero yo no sabía nada acerca de su compañero Bob. Absolutamente nada.

Uhh, Johnny es papá. Probablemente conseguirás más años para estallar.

Frank Sintara. Seth Macfarlane, sneaky hijo de una pistola. Sólo tenía que cantar Sintara ¿verdad?

Entonces, ¿qué ocurre ahora? Después de todo la emoción desgastan ¿qué ocurrirá? Rosita se consiga un marido más agradecido? Estoy seguro de que lo hará, pero me gustaría ver eso. Cómo sobre Johnny y su papá? Su papá está en la cárcel, hasta dónde va a ir? Tal vez alguien le llevará en. Ash también, ella tendrá la fuerza para permanecer lejos de su novio o sentirse tan culpable para salir y no tener dinero que ella se deformará bajo la culpabilidad y lo quieren de vuelta? Mike todavía no se rompió, así que me pregunto cómo su relación va a durar con la señorita ratón.Lo recomendaría para ver "cantar" con los niños? Bueno, sí. Sing (2016)

If you are updated with my blog, you would know that I talked about the movie "Sing" before in my rant on, "Why Sing has a Horrible Trailer." It talks about how its 4th trailer seemed to spoiler the entire movie right off the bat. However, I didn't lose a lot of interest in seeing it so as soon as it debuted in theaters, I went over to watch this animated comedy. 

"Sing" was made by Illumination Studios, the same company that produced the Despicable Me series, The Secret Life of Pets and The Lorax. It stars a theater owner who is down on his luck and in order to save his theater and bring it back to the glory it once was, he decides to host a singing competition. Through this, we see the lives of several animals who compete in the event and how this experience helps them be an individual in their lives.

Did "Sing" end up impressing me with its story talent or is it a film that should be thrown out of the theaters everywhere?

The story invites a lot of room for popular music to cameo in it. This movie can be called cheap for its often use of marketing popular modern music including songs from Drake, Taylor Swift and Kanye West. 

For a movie like this, I feel like people would enjoy more original music, stuff that they haven't heard before. Even if they are bad songs, it's still new and makes the movie more unique rather than looking like they are reaching to promote the top 50 pop hits. Granted, there were a few original songs and they were really catchy and personally I would have liked more of that.

Music aside, the plot of story was really cute with having the animals compete in an concert like performance. I get the moral that they were trying to make, but I highly doubt the characters in the story would really be content with their outcome in the end. The story doesn't even feel competitive even though it is a singing competition. The ending to the story felt too cheesy and cookie-cutter perfect.

Also, it felt like there were too many stories going on at once. If it were just about the contestants then that would be okay, but then we have a plot going on with the theater owner and his friend and his friend's family and...the movie was just so compact with unnecessary plots that could have easily been erased. 

Thinking about it, the story has a open ended finish. You're not too sure what will happen after the events and whether things will really be okay with every character. 

Main character Buster Moon (Matthew McConaughey) is the owner of the theater and he does address why and how he got into theater in the first place. I was hoping for just a bit more backstory on him because he felt the most bland out the all of the characters and didn't stand out to me. If you asked me to list the major characters in this movie, he'd probably be someone I'd forget.

Johnny the gorilla (Taron Egerton) is a sweetheart and you can't help but love him and how he's very passionate for music. It's his gateway out of the criminal lifestyle he lives with his father. I have no complaints on Johnny, but I am skeptical of how he will end up after the events of the movie. I'm probably looking too much into it, but I feel like Johnny will have more trouble after the story than he did before.

Rosita the pig (Reese Witherspoon) is also so compassionate and lovable that I only hoped the best for her. She is a working mother of...God knows how many children, and she is unappreciated by her husband. She must have been relatable to a lot of parents in the audience so it must have also been satisfying to see her become her own woman and let loose a little. 

I'm not too happy though that they often connected her to another character named Bob (Nick Kroll) who is also a pig and was helping her get out of her shell. Bob-while not the worst comic relief ever-didn't feel necessary to the story. I understood why Rosita and Bob worked together, but if they had given Bob more background to his character or more interaction with other characters then he wouldn't feel like such a hinderance. 

Ash the porcupine (Scarlett Johansson) was a favorite of mine, she just looked so cool and had a more complex and-what I would consider-risky plot line for a kid's film. I thought it was smart how they handled it, where Ash did clearly debate what was more important to her: her dream or her boyfriend.

Nobody automatically knows between right and wrong, but we must sit back and ponder on where our values lie and if one thing is worth losing another. I believe she did sing an original song for the movie soundtrack and it was exciting and loud and in your face, something the little kids would enjoy. 

Also, kudos to the voice actor Johansson for doing a decent job on Ash. After the movie "Lucy" (2014), I didn't care much for Johansson's acting in general because I thought it would come off monotone and bland, but she managed to add flavor to Ash's character and I'm happy about that.

Mike the mouse (Seth MacFarlane) feels like a Seth MacFarlane character that you would find on, "Family Guy," "American Dad" and so on. His personality was so snarky and egotistical, like he had everything in the bag and reminded me a lot about one of MacFarlane's most popular characters, Brian Griffin from "Family Guy" (the Brain after season 3). 

Aside from the species change, they're both stuck up and think they're better than everyone else, but at least Mike is more tolerable. Since the movie focuses equally on all of the singers, we don't see too much of Mike to where he would be loathed. It's more funny to see him in his shenanigans and watch him act like a big shot all the time. I'm not sure if he went through a character change, because his ending felt rushed and didn't elaborate on how the events changed him. So for all I know, he developed no character arc. 

Lastly, there is Meena the elephant (Tori Kelly) who is the timid teenager with a ton of potential to be a star. It's a little annoying how she constantly backs out on singing in front of an audience and I found that weird that I of all people would find it annoying when I've had trouble communicating before-and sometimes even now, but I wanted to shake Meena and yell, "Sing! You're amazing!" 

I would've preferred if she confided to another contestant and sing to them for practice, or show her practicing with her family so we get more scenes of her singing rather than her awkwardly standing around and missing opportunities. Her final performance though is so great, it made me want to get up and sing myself.

A big problem I had with the movie was its transitions, especially in the beginning. There wasn't a chance to be immersed in the scene before it ran off to present another one. This is very prominent when the movie first introduces the contestants of the singing competition; the screen pans to each one are unexpected and happen too soon. I swear, for one of them they didn't even let a character finish his sentence before it panned to someone else. 

It threw me off of the movie altogether for a while and just left me in a daze of confusion because the scenes were interesting- especially during the singing auditions- but you only get about 5 seconds of screen time for each contestant and you don't get a chance to laugh or let a moment sink in. I'm not saying give everybody more time, but at least most of the major characters and a few minor ones so it doesn't seem too obvious on who would end up competing against each other. Have them introduce themselves to Moon during auditions or something like that.

The animation is just like the kind you would see in "The Secret Life of Pets" where everyone looks cute and worthy of having their own toy in a Build-a-Bear store. It's a solid and clean animation that is easy on the eye and it's cute to see all the various species and how they live together in a society. Since "Zootopia" (2016) came out earlier in the year, it's easy to see how this film gained inspiration to create innovative ways to have a variety of species living together, this isn't a bad thing at all to have inspiration but it is noticeable. 

Would I recommend to see "Sing" with the children? Well, yeah. It's a harmless movie that is fun to watch and easy to follow, but the transitions can be a little wacky and it can also feel like a sneaky way of marketing popular music. The characters are cool and intriguing to follow, but you might be left unsure on how they're lives will end up. You can assume what happens, but you never see it and that bugs me a lot. Still I believe the good outweighs the bad and I will give "Sing" a 3 out of 5 stars.

The gorilla has the most beautiful voice and his accent is so cute

I never did like "Firework" by: Katy Perry, so listening to it hear was a bit annoying. That's just me.

To be fair, if my singing partner was doing their own thing and not following a certain strategy we already agreed to, I'd be a little peeved as well.

Woah! Did they just cut off Ash's boyfriend's words? I think they did!

Hey, Seth Macfarlane. Voicing another egotistical show off, aren't you?

I'm betting that Meena will win the competition. They put her last in the lineup of introductions and she's voiced by Tori Kelly.

Ash has a great voice too. I just wish they didn't cut off her solo at the auditions!

That Anaconda scene with the bunnies was so cringe-worthy

Cute Japanese animals, but they're playing the joke out for too long with them trying to get into the show. Ultimately, they don't do anything with them so what's the point?

Rosita is the best mom ever, but she would have been so sleep deprived by the time she got to auditions. I'm surprised she doesn't have bags under her eyes.

Okay, wait a minute. Johnny the gorilla sees what Moon wrote about him at auditions, saying that he's a natural born singer. Highlighted that part even...then why did Moon choose the giraffe over him in the first place? He only took Johnny instead because the giraffe was hard to talk to, so you would have thrown away a natural born singer? If Johnny was a natural born singer and originally didn't make it in, then that giraffe has a voice of God.

Becky? Becky...come on, movie.

Wait, Becky had the heart sunglasses but Ash was seen wearing them in the trailer (one of them) so that means she's...ooh, Ash you are awesome! Rubbing it in their face that you're a star!

The squid display was really cool and the music "Flashing Lights" by: Kanye West actually fit the scene.

It's Titanic all over again.

Why are they still trying to cheer up Moon? He lied to them and they won't get their money. Johnny can't break his father out, Rosita can have more stability with the kids, Ash can't make her own music studio (or whatever she wanted). He just wasted their time!

That scene with Moon and Meena felt forced. Like he has to say something to make her upset.

Hallelujiah is the perfect song for anything.

I'm glad that they showed Rosita taking charge and using a plan to rebuild the theater for the show, because it shows kids that having plans are good sometimes when they are necessary and you shouldn't go without a plan all of the time.

The Rosita performance was so fun. I'm really happy for her, but I knew nothing about her partner Bob. Absolutely nothing.

Uhh, Johnny's dad. You'll probably get more years for breaking out.

Frank Sintara. Seth Macfarlane, you sneaky son of a gun. You just had to sing Sintara did you?

Yes Meena!

So what happens now? After all the excitement wear off what will happen? Will Rosita get a more grateful husband? I'm certain she will, but I'd like to see that. How about Johnny and his dad? His dad is in prison, so where will he go? Maybe someone will take him in. Also Ash, will she have the strength to stay away from her boyfriend or feel so guilty for leaving and having no money that she will buckle under the guilt and want him back? Mike is still broke, so I wonder how his relationship will last with the lady mouse.

Película Vacaciones Sugerencias: Navidad

La Navidad es un tiempo maravilloso para muchas personas, yo incluido. Es atada con Halloween para mi fiesta favorita siempre y déjame decirte que es un competidor.

La Navidad fue un aficionado experiencia como un niño, el olor a comida deliciosa y cookies, ansiosos de Santa Claus a traerme mi regalo y simplemente sentir la cálida aura en la casa cuando todo el mundo se sintió alegre y generosa. Ahora que soy mayor, que tienden a hacer más dando por conseguir regalos para mi familia y amigos.

Como cliche como podría sonar, para ver sus caras se iluminan con tanta alegría me hace sentir bien. Me recuerda a la pureza de este mundo y cómo puedo señalar que en la gente.

Usted puede disfrutar de un montón de cosas para la Navidad como sentarse junto al fuego o jugar juegos de video, sino una actividad común es ver las películas de la navidad. Qué películas puedes ver que no son "duende" o "Cómo el Grinch robó la Navidad?" Bueno, espero que mis sugerencias le ayudará a encontrar la respuesta.

Esto puede parecer una opción obvia, pero para otros no lo es. "Pesadilla antes de Navidad" es una película con un clásico de culto que ha alojado permanentemente en medios populares. A pesar de todo-alrededor de estilo gótico y arte macrabre, esta película puede ser observado durante la fiesta más alegre y festivo, con leche y galletas y Navidad. Después de todo, digo en el título, la Pesadilla antes de NAVIDAD, teniendo la totalidad de la historia giraba en torno a el rey Calabaza, Jack Skellington (Johnny Depp) que quieran aprender acerca de las vacaciones de Navidad y, eventualmente, convertirse en la próxima a Santa Claus.

Esta no es la típica película de niños, tiene su parte justa de imágenes inquietantes que puedan asustar a los pequeños, dependiendo de cuánto su niño puede manejar. De lo contrario, la animación cg es fantástica y muy creativa y aunque las canciones no han sido memorable (al menos para mí) aparte de la canción "Esto es Halloween" no colocar el tono de las escenas que se encuentran en y mantenerte sumergido en la historia.

Los personajes son buenos, con Skellington comportarse como un niño curioso y explorar el Polo Norte preguntándose qué nieve y regalos y haciendo todo para crear esta maravilla en su propio mundo. Lado personajes como Sally (Catherine O'Hara) es el realista, diciéndole a Jack que él debe pegarse con Halloween en lugar de manipulación con la Navidad y proporcionando una mente más calmado a la situación mientras que todos los demás parece rápidamente de acuerdo con las ideas de Skellington. El villano es alguien que te arrastre al minuto de verlo, me gustaría saber porque recuerdo ver esta película como un niño y yo no podía aguantar mirar el coco, Oogie Boogie (Ken Page).

Si estás buscando una moral a esta historia entonces usted probablemente va a encontrar, pero pueden ser malinterpretados si no se analizan correctamente. Spoiler de luz, pero los niños pueden asumir que la moral podría ser que usted no debe intentar nuevas cosas y simplemente seguir haciendo lo que hace normalmente en todos los escenarios. Esto no es una película que se centra en el espíritu de la Navidad pero tiene escenas principales involucrados alrededor de invierno y las fiestas, por lo tanto creo que es posible ver durante la Navidad este año. Es otra película con Johnny Depp que es más oscuro que el habitual de vacaciones ha visto películas, pero todavía no es tan buena por su historia, personajes y banda sonora. En "Eduardo Manostijeras" las estrellas un tranquilo joven llamado Eduardo manostijeras (Johnny Depp) quien fue inventada con unas tijeras en las manos. Él es descubierto por una familia suburbana y está tomada en su casa, aprender acerca de otras personas, sino también descubrir el perjuicio que recibe debido a su deformidad.

Los gráficos son fantásticos, cada uno ya sea mostrando un pedazo de Manostijeras' el mundo de la oscuridad y el aislamiento o el humano mundo suburbano con prístino casas y limpieza. Introduce un alma dañada en un mundo aparentemente perfecto y nos permite experimentar los resultados de esa extraña combinación. Manostijeras es una especie alma que es como un niño en el sentido de que él está explorando el mundo real y el aprendizaje sobre la familia, el amor y lo peor de todo, odio.

La mayoría de los personajes laterales ayudan realmente a esta película no es sólo una película donde el personaje principal es odiado por todos, desde el comienzo ya hay gente que intenta ayudar Manostijeras así que esto no es una película que usted termine odiando a todo el mundo y sentirse deprimido por todo. La escena final también es muy hermoso y agridulce que todavía recuerdo a este día.

Yo lo recomendaría a cualquier persona de 13 años y hasta ver esta película y me dará "Eduardo Manostijeras" Un 5 de 5 estrellas.

Siento que debo ser honesto con usted aquí: Yo no ver esta película completamente. He visto un montón de vídeos de "Madea Navidad" a través de varios videos en Youtube. Sé que la trama de la historia y han visto los clips en orden cronológico y todavía quiero expresar mi opinión sobre él, pero tome mi consejo con un grano de sal para esta.

"Madea", estrellas de Navidad, Mabel "Madea" Simmons (Tyler Perry) que obtiene fichado a ayudar a un amigo a pagar a su hija una visita sorpresa en el país desde la Navidad, mientras que una pequeña ciudad rural, se prepara para su jubileo anual de Navidad.

Después de ver una buena parte de la película, puedo decir que la historia se siente recargada y a pesar de la ciudad acoger un evento de vacaciones, realmente no siento como una película con mucho espíritu navideño. Varios caracteres incluyendo Madea-salirse tan mezquina y desconsiderada de los sentimientos de otras personas y los chistes son a menudo una falta evidente de cómo van a hacer; puede ver lo duro que intente jalar en el hueso divertido.

Aunque esto es técnicamente una película para Hanukkah, me encanta esta película demasiado para mantenerlo fuera de la lista. Lo siento por todos aquellos que celebran Hanukkah. Yo no celebrarlo yo y no he visto ninguna películas hablando a crítico, quizá el próximo año. Las estrellas ciudad bebidas Davey (Adam Sandler) y cómo debe trabajar el servicio comunitario con un anciano, viejo hombre llamado Blanquita (Adam Sandler) para compensar sus muchas faltas en la ciudad. En el proceso, Davey aprende a reformar y ver la verdadera belleza de Hanukkah y lo que significa el amor. Su comedia puede ser un hit o miss. Dependiendo del tipo de persona que son, esta película va a ser divertido o molesto con su humor tosco incluyendo bromas del fart, caca chistes y un montón de chistes con fluidos corporales y gases.

Normalmente, no me atrevería a disfrutar que yo, pero esta película no es sólo eso. También puede ser divertido para su mera absurdos personajes como Davey que odia Janucá o Blanquita con su voz aguda y los caracteres más sensato reaccionar. Además, las canciones son pegadizas, algunos de ellos están en aquella parodia Janucá, como forma de canción en lugar de decir Hanukkah es genial dicen Hanukkah no es y aspira a estar rodeado de personas durante ese tiempo. La animación es también muy bonita, con bellas imágenes y las transiciones están decentemente juntos, las escenas parecen ritmo adecuadamente de modo que ninguno de ellos se arrastra cualquier más largo que deben.

Además, esta película también revela cierto material oscuro como la muerte y no se aprecia que en realidad en el remolcador heartstrings. Primero reír y bromear sobre Davey la situación, pero luego te das cuenta de por qué actúa como lo hace y si bien no es exactamente justificados, algunas personas pueden comprender cómo un evento que sucedió a Davey realmente tornillos hasta él.

En general, esta película es uno quisiera considerar un placer culpable de mina. No hay muchas personas que lo disfrutan, pero para aquellos que no se ríen motín de principio a fin mientras lleva hasta momentos emocionales y sometimiento de los amigos y la familia más juntos en la manera más alocada posible. No recomendaría esta viendo con niños o sus padres, probablemente sus hermanos aunque. 13 años de edad y hasta puede ver esto y yo lo calificaría "Ocho noches locas" 4 fuera de 5 estrellas.

No está seguro de qué hacer para la temporada de vacaciones? Intentando conseguir entradas para un espectáculo de navidad cuando sabes que te va a costar un grand para sólo cuatro personas? A continuación, eche un vistazo a la "Radio City Christmas Spectacular" ubicado en Netflix. Christmas is a wonderful time for lots of people, me included. It is tied with Halloween for my favorite holiday ever and let me tell you, it's quite a competitor.

Christmas was a fond experience for me as a child: smelling the delicious food, eager for Santa Claus to bring me my gifts at night, and just feeling the warm aura in the house when everyone felt jolly and giving. Now that I'm older, I tend to do more giving by getting presents for my family and friends.

As cliche as it might sound, to see their faces light up with such joy really makes me feel good. It reminds me of the purity of this world and how I can bring that out in people.

You can enjoy a lot of things for Christmas like sitting by the fire or playing video games, but a common activity is to watch christmas movies. What movies could you watch that aren't "Elf" or "How the Grinch Stole Christmas?" Well, hopefully my suggestions will help you find the answer.

THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS

This may seem like an obvious choice for Christmas time, but to others it is not. "The Nightmare before Christmas" is a classic movie with a cult following that has permanently stayed in popular media. Despite its all-around gothic and macabre art style, this movie can be watched during the more jolly festive holiday as well, with milk and cookies and christmas cheer. After all, it does say in the title, The Nightmare before CHRISTMAS and it has the entirety of the story revolve around the pumpkin king, Jack Skellington (Johnny Depp) wanting to learn about the Christmas holiday with the intention of becoming the next Santa Claus. 

This has its fair share of disturbing imagery that might frighten little ones depending on how much your child can handle. But, the cg animation is very creative and while the songs aren't very memorable (to me at least) aside from the song, "This is Halloween" they do fit the tone of the scenes that they are in. 

The characters are good with Skellington behaving like a curious child and exploring the North Pole wondering what snow and gifts are and going all out to create this wonder in his own world. Side characters like Sally (Catherine O'Hara) is the realist, telling Jack that he should stick with Halloween instead of tampering with Christmas and providing a calmer mind to the situation at hand whereas everyone else seems to quickly agree with Skellington's ideas. The villain is someone that can creep you out the minute you see him, I would know because I remember watching this movie as a child and I couldn't stand look at the boogeyman, Oogie Boogie (Ken Page). 

If you're looking for a moral to this story then you'll probably find it, but it can be misconstructed if not analyzed correctly. Light spoiler, but kids might assume that the moral might be that you shouldn't try new things and just keep doing what you normally do in all scenarios. So say if your kid wants to practice studying computer software even though they are more skilled in english literature, they won't pursue it because that's not their greatest strength. 

I personally feel the moral is more about how you don't need to change yourself or no one is better than you for having a specific talent, because everyone has their own strengths and yours is just as valued as anyone else's.

I see why this movie is so popular and I would recommend it to anyone who'd appreciate this darker atmosphere of christmas joy while having Halloween join the fun as well. I'd say show this to people as early as 10 years old and up. I give "The Nightmare before Christmas" a 4 1/2 out of 5 stars.

EDWARD SCISSORHANDS

This is not a movie that centers on the spirit of Christmas, but it does have major scenes involved around winter and the holidays, therefore I think it's possible to see this during the Christmas year.
It's another movie with Johnny Depp that is more dark than the usual holiday watched films, but it is still just as good for its story, characters and soundtrack.

In "Edward Scissorhands" it stars a quiet young man named Edward Scissorhands (Johnny Depp) who was invented with scissors for hands. He is discovered by a suburban family and is taken into their home, learning about other people but also discovering the prejudice he receives due to his deformity.

The visuals are great, each one either showing a piece of Scissorhands' world of darkness and isolation or the human suburban world with pristine homes and cleanliness. It introduces a damaged soul within a seemingly perfect world and lets us experience the results of that uncanny combination. Scissorhands is a kind soul who is like a child in a sense that he is exploring the real world and learning about family, love and worst of all, hate.

Most of the side characters actually help this movie not be just a movie where the main character is hated by everyone, since the beginning there are already people who try to help Scissorhands so this won't be a film that you end up hating everybody and feel depressed all throughout. The ending scene is also very beautiful and bittersweet that I still remember it to this day.

I would recommend anyone 13 years and up to watch this movie and I will give "Edward Scissorhands" a 5 out of 5 stars.


A MADEA CHRISTMAS

I feel like I need to be honest with you here: I didn't watch this movie completely. I actually saw a lot of clips from, "A Madea Christmas" through several videos on Youtube. I know the plot of the story and have seen the clips in chronological order and I still want to express my opinion on it, but take my advice with a grain of salt for this one.

"A Madea Christmas" stars Mabel "Madea" Simmons (Tyler Perry) who gets roped into helping a friend pay her daughter a surprise visit in the country from Christmas while a small, rural town prepares for its annual Christmas Jubilee.

After watching a good portion of the film, I can say that the story feels cluttered and despite the town hosting a holiday event, it doesn't really feel like a movie with a lot of Christmas spirit. Several characters-including Madea-come off as mean-spirited and inconsiderate of other people's feelings and the jokes are often a miss by how obvious they are to make; you can see how hard they try to tug at the funny bone.

The comedy is lackluster, but if you're a big fan of Madea then I'm sure you'd still be able to watch it. The editing is slightly wacky, including the movie's needs to transition with Christmas swipes. While they are cute, they don't really fit what's happening during the story.

I can't say much about this one honestly, but anyone 13 and up can watch it and you'll probably like it as a movie you can joke about with your friends at most. At the very least, you'll feel bored and disinterested in the plot lines, only wanting to see more christmas related stories. I give "A Madea Christmas" a 1 out of 5 stars.

EIGHT CRAZY NIGHTS

Though this is technically a movie for Hanukkah, I simply love this movie too much to keep it off the list. Sorry for all those who celebrate Hanukkah. I don't celebrate it myself and I haven't watched any movies talking about it to critic, maybe next year. It stars town alcoholic Davey (Adam Sandler) and how he must work community service with an elderly, old man named Whitey (Adam Sandler) to make up for his many misdemeanors in the town. In the process, Davey learns to reform and see the real beauty of Hanukkah and what it means to love. Its comedy can either be a hit or miss. Depending on the type of person you are, this movie will either be hilarious or annoying with its crude humor including fart jokes, poop jokes and a lot of jokes involving bodily fluids and gases. 

Normally, I wouldn't enjoy that myself but this movie isn't just about that. It can also be funny for its sheer absurd characters like Davey who hates Hanukkah or Whitey with his high-pitched voice and the more sane characters reacting to it. Plus, the songs are catchy, some of them are in that parody Hanukkah song way, like how instead of saying Hanukkah is great they say Hanukkah isn't and it sucks to be around people during that time. The animation is also really pretty with beautiful visuals and the transitions are decently put together as well, the scenes seem to pace themselves properly so none are dragging on any longer than the should. 

In addition, this movie also reveals some dark material like death and not being appreciated that actually tug at the heartstrings. You first laugh and joke about Davey's predicament but later on you realize why he acts the way he does and while it isn't exactly justified, some people can understand how an event that happened to Davey really screws him up. 

Overall, this movie is one I would consider a guilty pleasure of mine. There aren't many people who enjoy it but for those that do it is a laugh riot from start to finish while also bringing up emotional moments and brining friends and family closer together in the weirdest way possible. I would not recommend watching this with young children or your parents, probably your siblings though. Ages 13 and up can watch this and I would rate "Eight Crazy Nights" a 4 out of 5 stars.

RADIO CITY CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR

Not sure what to do for the holiday season? Trying to get tickets for a christmas show when you know it will cost you a grand for just four people? Then check out the "Radio City Christmas Spectacular" located on Netflix. It is a complete recording of one of their amazing stage shows that have talented dancers gracing the stage with their moves, all while addressing the fun and joy of Christmas time. The duration of the performance is a little over an hour I believe with no intermission. Certain things performed on stage include the dancing rockettes, toy soldiers, christmas in New York City and the Nativity scene.

Multiple cameras have recorded this show so you will get many close and far out shots of the performance, plus moments where you see the audience and their reactions. It's such a beautiful masterpiece throughout and while it may be awesome to see it live, if you're not able to afford it then this is the next best thing. You still can't pull your eyes away and it will definitely entertain your kids, especially when they see Santa Claus on the screen.

The only complain I could think of for this is that if you're not interested in a segment then you might have to bear with it for a while, the segments can go as long as 10 minutes. I consider that minor though since each segment is creative enough to not end up being a complete bore, there has to be something you get out of it.

So if you're looking for a long film to entertain the young ones while you prepare christmas dinner or something similar to that and you don't spend hundreds of dollars, then this is the perfect kid-friendly holiday show for any year. I give the, "Radio City Christmas Spectacular" a solid 5 out of 5 stars.

Tengo una idea para hacer este post después de ver los trailers de la nueva película de Disney, "Moana." Uno de los remolques para una próxima película fue creado por iluminación Entertainment, la misma compañía que produjo "despreciable de mí" y "La Vida Secreta de mascotas."

La película que estoy hablando se llama "cantar" y se trata de un montón de diferentes animales con el mismo sueño de ser cantante. Cada personaje tiene un fondo único que les llevó a una competencia de canto y sólo uno de ellos podría ser el ganador.

Ahora realmente disfruté de este tráiler, me dio un breve resumen de lo que yo podía esperar y parece que los personajes principales van a ser la hembra de cerdo, el gorila y el elefante. El cerdo no es apreciado en su casa y no tiene tiempo para que ella sea libre, el gorila tiene un padre criminal y él no quiere ir por el mismo camino y el elefante es tímida y necesita aprender a confiar en sí misma. Creo que trabaja para una linda historia acerca de intentar ser el mejor mientras se aprende a ser tú mismo.

Yo estaba muy emocionado de ver "cantar" tan pronto como salió...hasta que vi otro de sus remolques. El enlace siguiente le mostrará el trailer que vi cuando fui a ver "Moana" en los cines.

Después de ver esto, he tenido este sentimiento bruto en mis entrañas. Mi corazón se hundió y mi amor por la película venció por un rato; me gustó este tráiler muy mucho. Fue un horrible anuncio para mostrar a la gente. Puede que no parezca tan grave aún, tal vez usted piensa que soy una reacción exagerada y sabes qué? Quizá soy yo, pero yo creo que hay una mejor manera de revelar el contenido de su remolque de este. Voy a romper algunas de las escenas principales que me hizo enojar y realmente me hizo muy cerca de no querer ver la película en absoluto.

PROBLEM 1- MEENA, EL ELEFANTE Y LA CENIZA El PUERCOESPÍN'S STORY

¿Por dónde empezar? ¿Cómo puedo explicar las cosas en orden cronológico del remolque. Lo primero que noté fue cómo se expandieron sobre Meena el elefante y confirmó que ella es en realidad un elefante muy tímida que tiene problemas para estar delante de una audiencia. Su familia la empuja a ser mejor, incluso aunque ella está asustado para llegar a la cima. Pero al final gana la confianza que necesita para triunfar y ella probablemente ganará la competencia (eso creo). En el vídeo de Youtube, a las 1:05 muestra una escena donde su abuelo (creo) empuja a Meena para trabajar por su sueño, preguntando, "no desea esto?", que ya me dice cómo ella es vacilante para ir (que o ella tiene overachieving padres, pero sobre la base de las otras escenas que me vea, que no parece ser el caso).

Más adelante, veremos otra escena a las 1:44 con Meena a punto de subir al escenario y cantar pero ella dice, "No me puedo mover, estoy aterrorizada." Así que ahora conozco como un visor que ella se confirma a tener miedo del público y probablemente tendrá la mejor voz del montón. De hecho, poco después de que hay una escena a las 1:56 de su cante tan fuerte, ella destruye el escenario pero el público aplaude ella de todos modos. No me clap salvo que disfrutaron de su música, ¿verdad? La historia de Meena es ahora completamente predecibles que va a ser difícil sentir mal por ella porque ya sé que ella va a ser muy querido de todos modos.

También, recuerde antes cuando me dijo que yo sabía que la hembra de cerdo, gorilas y elefantes son los personajes principales? Ahora bien, de acuerdo con este tráiler no es más un personaje principal que es un puercoespín llamado ash. Eso no es un problema tan grande hasta el tráiler revela a las 1:08 que su backstory implica ser engañada por su novio y patadas él fuera del apartamento en que vivían juntos. Este fue inicialmente la primera escena en este trailer que me molestó. En primer lugar, que es un asombroso backstory para poner en una película para niños, para mostrar el lado negativo de las relaciones y, de hecho, representan el adulterio! El puercoespín's heartbreak lo motivará a seguir sus sueños, pero sabemos que ahora, y eso es lo que no me gusta.

Desde que su historia es tan impactante y diferente de los otros caracteres (para un kid's movie) Siento que hubiera sido mejor para guardar la información y nunca revelar hasta que la película estaba en teatros. El valor de choque agudizaría la mayor y tendrías que ser realmente curioso sobre cómo acabará el puercoespín. Además, ella se presenta en el primer trailer de modo que ya sabemos que está allí y no tuvimos que se estropean en lo que ella vivió. Creo que no muestran su tragedia habría hecho la audiencia que finalmente va a ver a "cantar" asombrado e impresionado que pueden manejar una historia sobre trucos lo suficientemente bien como para que los niños entiendan.

PROBLEMA 2- EL AVANCE DEL CERDO 

Tengo la sensación de que uno de mis personajes favoritos de esta película será el cerdo hembra (no puedo averiguar cuál es su nombre en internet). Puedo decirles desde el primer trailer link me mostró que ella era una madre maravillosa pero no muy apreciado por cualquiera, especialmente a su marido, que tiende a centros cosas alrededor de él, como en el 1:11 del primer trailer, su esposa cae pero no le importa. Es gracioso, pero cuando uno se pone a pensar que es realmente triste. La hembra de cerdo utilizado probablemente para disfrutar cantando mucho y realizar antes de que ella se asentaron como a las 2:32 cuando ella espontáneamente comienza a bailar al ritmo de la música en el supermercado. Ella tiene que el fuego y la chispa para ser una estrella, pero sus responsabilidades mantenga su espalda y yo estaba ansioso por saber cuánto iba a avance. Pero, entonces, el otro trailer que me dio...

En un muy segundo rápido a las 1:28 en el segundo trailer link que envié, verá el cerdo hembra en un traje muy llamativo en el escenario y su familia está impresionado por la confianza que ella ve. Yo podría haber intentado hacer caso omiso de esa escena pero su traje aparece de nuevo a las 1:53 donde ella está bailando con su esposo buscando más feliz que nunca antes, y eso es una escena que realmente me enojó.

En primer lugar, ya podemos ver el gran revelan, ella va a vestirse de que para el rendimiento, obtener su ranura atrás y probablemente tome más tiempo para ella misma. En segundo y último lugar, ella está bailando con su marido...que ignora sus problemas y sólo se preocupa por sí mismo.

Hubiera sido satisfactorio ver que el cerdo hembra tienen su propio rendimiento individual, para demostrar que ella no necesita de él para prestarle su apoyo. El mensaje para el que pudo haber golpeado incluso más fuerte si ella era como, "estoy haciendo este desempeño solamente mientras usted me apoyan desde todos los frentes, porque usted ha sido nada pero grosero en nuestro matrimonio y quiero que este momento para mí!"

Suena egoísta, ¿eh? Y recuerde, esta película todavía no ha salido. Un montón de cosas que podría haber sucedido con excusa: el marido podía haber tenido un avance demasiado, pero veo que hasta llegar a madurar, yo realmente odiaba verlos juntos y verla todos los extravagantes. Usted necesita ahorrar para los teatros para que la gente pueda ser mucho más impresionado!

Este es mi último problema con el segundo trailer me puse al día y esto es lo que de verdad...realmente me enojó. Hasta el punto de que acabo de decir, "olvida por qué ver esto ahora? No me importa más" antes de que yo te muestre, permítanme poner el primer segundo trailer aquí nuevamente.

PROBLEMA 3: "ESTE ES MI HIJO!"

Esta fue, sin duda, el momento en que mi corazón se hundió, mis puños balled y mi ceño estaba firmemente en su lugar. Esta escena solo realmente me hizo la pregunta de si o no yo aún quería ver a "cantar" en los teatros más. Permítanme explicar.

En el primer trailer, muestra claramente cómo el adolescente apasionado gorila es sobre canto, pero debido a su padre y a su necesidad de antecedentes criminales para ayudarle a completar sus crímenes, no puede perseguir sus sueños, hasta que finalmente adquiere el coraje de ir en contra de lo que él sabe y realmente salir y salir de la sombra de su padre. Evidentemente es un buen cantante y quiere levantarse en su potencial y evens paga dinero para clases de piano para obtener mejor y hacer un nombre por sí mismo que no va a ser famoso. En el 1:48 del primer trailer, realmente perfora el corazón cuando el padre dice, "Cómo hice terminan con un hijo como usted?"

Muchas personas lamentablemente oír que antes de la gente que amaba sólo porque hacen algo que va en contra de sus creencias de los padres. Mi corazón dolía para aquel adolescente gorila y yo sólo le quería alejarse de ese terrible padre. O me hubiera resuelto con ellos patching cosas y el padre aprendiendo una lección sobre tratarle con respeto y apoyo las cosas que quiere hacer en su vida. Yo hubiera sido feliz con cualquiera, pero ahora no hay más misterio. No hay especulación. Ahora, todos sabemos, el padre estará orgulloso de su hijo y estar allí para apoyarlo. El padre está sentado en su celda de la cárcel cuando él observa a su hijo cantar y exclama a la 1:31 "Este es mi hijo!"

No estoy diciendo que él no quería volver a conectarse con su hijo, como he dicho, si eso sucediera, entonces eso es genial, pero ahora sé que va a pasar. ¿entiende el problema?

Todo este tráiler no deja suspenso y básicamente enumera la serie de eventos que sucederá con cada personaje. Estoy llamando ahora: Meena el elefante obtendrá más de su timidez y ganar la competencia, Ash el puercoespín va a cantar una canción de rock y mostrar a su ex-novio y no llevarlo de regreso, la hembra de cerdo harán alarde de sus antiguos movimientos de baile con una confianza renovada y el marido apreciarán su más y el gorila hará bien en la competencia, impresionando al padre y que le pida disculpas por su rudeza. ¿Por qué necesito ver esta película más? Me dieron toda la parcela establecidos ahora.

A pesar de todo lo que ya he dicho, tengo ganas de "cantar" es una película bastante decente que muchas personas vienen a disfrutar de ella, los personajes y las canciones. Hay algunas personas en esta popular película que pueda mantener esta película en lo popular sólo estoy molesto acerca de cómo es el trailer revelado abiertamente los principales puntos de trazado con cada personaje.

Podría usted imaginar cómo habría sido emocionante ver a la hembra de cerdo en su glamoroso outfit? O sea llevado a las lágrimas viendo un padre y un hijo bond de nuevo? Ahora que se ha ido y eso es algo que no puedo olvidar, sólo voy a esperar que eso suceda y lo aleja de la magia que esta película podría haber tenido más de.

Why "Sing" has an Awful Trailer

IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO RECEIVE ANY POSSIBLE SPOILERS, I SUGGEST THAT YOU DO NOT READ ON AS I WILL GO INTO DETAIL ABOUT SEVERAL SCENES FROM THE TRAILER. LASTLY, IF YOU READ ON YOU MUST WATCH THE TRAILERS I PLACE THROUGHOUT THE POST IN ORDER TO TRULY COMPREHEND WHAT I TALK ABOUT. THANK YOU.

I got an idea to do this post after watching the trailers to the newest Disney movie, "Moana." One of the trailers was for an upcoming film created by Illumination Entertainment, the same company that produced "Despicable Me" and "The Secret Life of Pets."

The film I am talking about is called "Sing" and it is about a bunch of different animals with the same dream of becoming a singer. Each character has a unique background that led them to a singing competition and only one of them could be the winner.

Now I really enjoyed this trailer, it gave me a brief summary of what I could expect and it seems like the main characters are going to be the female pig, the gorilla and the elephant. The pig is not appreciated at home and doesn't have time to let herself be free, the gorilla has a criminal father and he doesn't want to go down the same path and the elephant is shy and needs to learn to be confident in herself. I think it works for a cute story about trying to be the best while also learning to be yourself.

I was incredibly excited to watch "Sing" as soon as it came out...until I saw another one of its trailers. The following link will show you the trailer that I saw when I went to see "Moana" in theaters.

After viewing this, I had this gross feeling in my gut. My heart sank and my love for the movie expired for a while; I disliked this trailer very very much. It was a horrible advertisement to show to people. It may not seem so serious yet, maybe you think I'm overreacting and you know what? Maybe I am, but I believe there is a better way to reveal the contents of your trailer than this. I will break down some of the major scenes that really got me mad and actually made me very close to not wanting to see the movie at all.

PROBLEM 1- MEENA THE ELEPHANT AND ASH THE PORCUPINE'S STORY

Where to start? How about I explain things in chronological order of the trailer. First thing I noticed was how they expanded on Meena the elephant and confirmed that she is in fact a very timid elephant that has trouble being in front of an audience. Her family pushes her to be the best even though she's scared to reach the top. Yet at the end she gains the confidence she needs to succeed and she will probably win the competition (that's my guess). In the Youtube video, at 1:05 it shows a scene where her grandfather (I believe) pushes Meena to work for her dream, asking, "Don't you want this?" That already tells me how hesitant she is to go on (that or she has overachieving parents, but based on the others scenes I see, that doesn't seem to be the case).

Later on, we see another scene at 1:44 with Meena about to go on stage and sing but she says, "I can't move, I'm terrified." So now I know as a viewer that she is confirmed to be afraid of the public and will probably have the best voice out of the bunch. In fact, soon after that there is a scene at 1:56 of her singing so loudly, she destroys the stage yet the audience applauds her anyways. They wouldn't clap unless they enjoyed her music, right? Meena's story is now completely predictable that it's going to be hard to feel bad for her because I know already that she's going to be well liked anyways.

Also, remember earlier when I said I knew for sure that the female pig, gorilla and elephant were the main characters? Well now, according to this trailer there is one more main character who is a porcupine named Ash. That's not such a big issue until the trailer reveals at 1:08 that her backstory involves being cheated on by her boyfriend and kicks him out of the apartment they lived in together. This was initially the very first scene in this trailer that got me annoyed. Firstly, that's an amazing backstory to put in a kids movie, to show the downside of relationships and actually depict adultery! The porcupine's heartbreak will motivate her to follow her dreams, but we know that now and that's what I don't like.

Since her story is so impactful and different from the other characters (for a kid's movie) I feel like it would have been best to save that information and never reveal it until the movie was in theaters. The shock value would heighten greater and you'd really be curious about how the porcupine will end up. Besides, she is featured in the first trailer so we already know she is there and we didn't have to get spoiled on what she went through. I think not showing her tragedy would have made the audience who eventually goes to see "Sing" flabbergasted and impressed that they could handle a story about cheating well enough for children to understand.

PROBLEM 2- THE PIG'S BREAKTHROUGH

I have a feeling that one of my very favorite characters out of this movie will be the female pig (I can't find out what her name is on the internet). I can tell from the first trailer link I showed that she was a wonderful mother but not very appreciated by anyone, especially her husband who tends to centers things around himself like in 1:11 of the first trailer, his wife falls yet he doesn't care. It is funny, but when you think about it that's really sad. The female pig probably used to enjoy singing a lot and performing before she settled down like at 2:32 when she spontaneously begins dancing to music in the supermarket. She has that fire and spark to be a star but her responsibilities hold her back and I was eager to know just how much she would breakthrough. But then the other trailer gave that to me...

In a very quick second at 1:28 in the second trailer link I sent, you see the female pig in a very flashy costume on stage and her family is impressed by how confident she looks. I could have tried to ignore that scene but her costume appears again at 1:53 where she is dancing with her husband looking happier than ever before, and that's a scene that really angered me.

First off, we already see the big reveal, she's going to dress in that for the performance, get her groove back and probably take more time to herself. Secondly and lastly, she is dancing with her husband...who ignores her issues and only cares about himself.

It would've been satisfying to see the female pig have her own individual performance, to prove that she doesn't need him to support her. The message for that could've hit even stronger if she was just like, "I'm doing this performance alone while you support me from the sidelines, because you have been nothing but rude in our marriage and I want this moment for me!"

Sounds kind of selfish, huh? Well remember, this movie has yet to come out. A lot of things could have happened to excuse this: the husband could have had a breakthrough too, but until I see that come into fruition, I really hated seeing them together and seeing her all extravagant. You need to save that for the theaters so people can be much more impressed!

This is my final problem with the second trailer I put up and this one is what really...REALLY angered me. To the point where I just said, "Forget it, why see this now? I don't care anymore" Before I show you, let me put up the first and second trailer here once again.

PROBLEM 3- "THAT'S MY SON!" 

This was without a doubt, the moment that my heart sank, my fists balled up and my frown was firmly in place. This scene alone really made me question whether or not I even wanted to see "Sing" in theaters anymore. Let me explain.

In the first trailer, it clearly shows how passionate the teenage gorilla is about singing but due to his father's criminal background and his need to help him complete his crimes, he cannot pursue his dreams until he finally gains the courage to go against what he's known and actually get out there and step out of his father's shadow. He is clearly a good singer and wants to rise in his potential and evens pays money for piano lessons to get better and make a name for himself that won't be infamous. In 1:48 of the first trailer, it really punches the heart when the father says, "How did I end up with a son like you?"

A lot of people unfortunately hear that before from people they loved just because they do something that goes against their parents beliefs. My heart ached for that teenage gorilla and I just wanted him to get away from that terrible father. Or I would've settled with them patching things up and the father learning a lesson about treating him with respect and support the things he wants to do in his life. I would've been happy with either, but now there's no more mystery. There's no speculation. We all know now, the father will be proud of his son and be there to support him. The father is sitting in his jail cell when he watches his son sing and he exclaims at 1:31 "That's my son!"

I'm not saying that I wanted him not to reconnect with his son, like I said if that were to happen then that's great, but now I know it's going to happen. Do you understand the problem?

This whole trailer leaves no suspense and basically lists out the series of events that will happen with each character. I'm calling it right now: Meena the elephant will get over her shyness and win the competition, Ash the porcupine will sing a rock song and show off to her ex-boyfriend and not take him back, the female pig will show off her old dance moves with newfound confidence and the husband will appreciate her more and the gorilla will do well in the competition, impressing the father and making him apologize for his rudeness. Why do I need to see this movie anymore? I got the whole plot laid out now.

In spite of everything I said, I do feel like "Sing" is a decent enough movie that many people will come to enjoy it, the characters and the songs.  There are some popular people in this film too that can keep this movie in popular What I'm just upset about is how openly the trailer revealed the major plot points with each character.

Would you imagine how exciting it would have been to see the female pig in her glamorous outfit? Or be brought to tears watching a father and son bond again? Now that is gone and that's something I can't just forget, I will only expect it to happen and it takes away the magic that this movie could've had more of.
